Cathy Boyd is a professional artist living in Ontario, Canada. She is represented by galleries in Aurora, Port Carling, Huntsville and Penetang, all located in central and south Ontario. She is currently represented by Agora Gallery, New York City, and is participating in a group show, entitled 'Beyond Borders' An Exhibition of Fine Art from Canada. Initially recognized for her sensitive pastel paintings, Cathy recently began painting in oil on large canvases. Her style is painterly, and subjects are often shoreline portraits, rural scenes and florals. At times she paints impressionistically, always striving to leave the viewer with a sense of tranquility and peace and a feeling of 'having been there before'.
